"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless  like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle; You put water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

Qigong Instruction

The "Formless Form" in Formless Form Qigong is a philosophical concept influenced by the legendary Bruce Lee and his quote above.

Qigong is a form of moving meditation, similar to Tai Chi or Yoga. It coordinates breath, posture, and intention; has roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts. According to the philosophy of Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism, qigong allows access to higher realms of awareness, awakens one's true nature, and develops human potential.

Spirituality and Spiritual Development. Although many view spirituality as being synonymous with religion, the Formless Form approach is independent of religion. Here, spirituality is self-knowledge, self-awareness, self-realization and connection with the supreme through the practice of qigong. The teachings are practical and experiential. Students are encouraged to be open-minded with a healthy sense of skepticism.

Private Instruction in Qigong

By Special Request and at the Discretion of Master Her

Qigong Set

Due to the subtle nature of these teachings, instruction of the Formless Form Qigong set is taught in private. Learning the set requires a minimum of twenty-four 60 minutes sessions. Full payment for the 12 weeks is required to begin.

Sessions 1-6 are spent learning the Formless Form Qigong set. Special focus will be given in the beginning to discussing the journey and preparing the learner for the obstacles that are to come.

Sessions 7-9 are spent paying special attention to the learner's structure, breath, and intention. If the learner has been practicing diligently, he/she will increase their personal body awareness.

Sessions 10-12 are spent practicing the set longer and diving deeper. At this point the learner should know the set and certain cleansing experiences will be occurring. Time is devoted to understanding these common but very personal experiences.

Beyond the Set

Intermediate sessions provide custom guidance for the learner's continued personal journey.
